How easy it is to transform an old wooden bed into a bed with some personaility!

Bought a bed....reminded me of one we had as kids....it is a  good solid old school simple but practical ( will love having a place to put books/eyeglasses/drinks,etc at night) bed at Goodwill for $20 and got a sample of some paint my sis used to transform an old table and wah-lah....instant love! Doesn't even look like the same bed does it? --Tips

PS started to rain after my sis insisted it wasn't gonna rain and so that is why we had it halfway in the garage....that is her and my daughter in the pics....I'll take free labor anyway I can get it and they both were dying to paint so " here... have at it"....BTW Lowes has samples of paint for $3. Can't beat that.

footboard just a sliver isn't it but it will accentuate the bedspread so all the better

that chair is another project gonna tackle soon....
