Post 8 of New/ Amazing/ Interesting/Unusual Items for you to look over......Enjoy!---Tips

This was a new type of plant I saw....it has striped leaves....in the Southern Living collection....I didn't know they had a plant collection did you?....seen at Lowes.

This was another variety of plant I was not familiar with....it was a miniature hosta I believe. Maybe elephant ear. Have to look closer at the tag. Seen in Lowes.

This is nice if you want to take rootings of plants and you put some of it in a glass with some water ( read instructions) ....easy way to get new plants going....gives them a boost.

These are asparagus ferns. I live in a mild climate but these can endure the coldest days of winter.I have had many out in the yard unprotected and they do fine ( but our lows are mild...30's usually)....have switched from boston ferns that die pretty easily if not babied to these. You might try them. Seen at Lowes.

This was another plant I had never seen before called a Corkscrew Rush. Not sure if annual or perennial but it says part sun -part shade....Seen at Lowes.

This was a type of Geranium that I have never seen before. Such pretty leaves. Geraniums are pretty hardy adn will last through a winter in my zone. Seen in Lowes.

This is sunscreen fabric. They also have it in green. It can be used over pergolas, strung from your house to another building or a piece of wood with a eye hook on it and attached with string or multiple other areas in need of shade. It can be cut to size then you can use grommets and string to hold it in place....it is pretty inexpensive....about $25 a roll. Seen at Lowes but Walmart has it too.

This is a small greenhouse for $179 but you could probably build one out of PVC and plastic sheeting for alot less. However, it is at Lowes if you want to buy it.

I thought this was a cool fan....it has a light and a clock.....great idea! Not sure how much. Seen at Lowes.

This is a relatively easy fencing system to install. You just push the poles into the ground and it extends out about 5.5 ft....there are two panels in a package and I think they were around $25 but don't quote me on that. It would be an easy way to enclose a garden or give you some peace of mind in the front yard with the kids playing near the street or whatever. Seen at Lowes. They have other ones that are just as easy to install.....various designs. Go check them out. I stood there debating on buying these myself for a good long time.

This is supposedly a replacement tub/shower fixture for 8 different types of fixtures.....says universal so supposed to fit them all.Would be nice if it did. Alot of bathrooms would be better with new fixtures. Seen at Lowes.

Switching gears here a little bit....those are white asparagus on the left. Never seen them before. Not sure how they taste. They are a dollar more so it better be the YUM in YUMMY for me to pay an extra dollar for them....haha.....Seen in Harris Teeter.

This is a picture of prepackaged " fresh" herbs for you...below them are tubes of herbs in paste forms.....I have never seen nor used the tubes....would be interested to hear from someone who has. Seen in Harris Teeter

These were giant stalks of aloe vera....I had never seen them sold like that before. You can use it for various skin conditions.....lots of people swear by it. I know it is good for sunburn or various burns.Seen in Harris Teeter.

Aww a baby pineapple from South Africa. Never seen one before! Seen in Harris Teeter.
